After Embarrassment bottled the five emotions up, they were sent to a Vault of Secrets with him, Lance Slashblade, and Bloofy. He freed the emotions from the jar by smashing it with his fist, but declined to leave the Vault with them, saying it wasn't time yet.
The secret was revealed during the post-credit scene when Joy visited the Vault. He was afraid and told Joy that Riley burned a hole in the rug once. Joy expected him to tell her the time Riley peed in the pool, he said no and then rushed back into his cell, locking the vault behind him.
Personality
The Deep Dark Secret is afraid of others, except for those who reside in his cell. He keeps himself away from others to prevent trouble.
