Pixar is the animation studio that produced Inside Out and Inside Out 2 as well as shorts Riley's First Date? and Mind Candy. It is based in Emeryville, California, and has been owned by Disney since 2006.

Notes and Trivia

• Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur are the first two Pixar films that got released on the same year. The other times this has occurred are Cars 3 and Coco, both in 2017, Onward and Soul, both in 2020, as well as Turning Red and Lightyear, both in 2022.
• The original film before "Inside Out" was called: Newt. Since the movie had so many similarities to the movie Rio, they halted production on the project, so they scrapped it and moved Inside Out to Newt's planned release date.
