History
Inside Out 2
Dani was on the FireHawks and attended Coach Roberts' skills camp prior to the start of the school year. After meeting Riley Andersen and watching her goof off when the coach called for attention, Dani said she wouldn't make the team if she couldn't get it together. Val Ortiz reminded her that she didn't have things together when she was a freshman, but Dani didn't think she was as immature as Riley.
While they were hanging out, Riley shocked the other girls by saying Get Up and Glow was her favorite band. Dani asked if she still liked them and Riley pretended she was being sarcastic.
Later, as they prepared for the scrimmage on the last day of the camp, Dani said that Val had scored two goals during that scrimmage, securing herself a spot on the FireHawks. This inspired Riley to try to score three goals to get onto the team, leading to her doing things like stealing the puck from Dani, who was on her team.
Dani, Val, and the other FireHawks went to school with Riley and sat with her at lunch as she waited to hear if she would be on the team or not.
